Tekken 6 Gone Gold, Co-Op Mode Patched in Later

Lack of co-op at launch makes me want to hit old guys!

Namco-Bandai has sent out a press release announcing that Tekken 6 has gone gold and will be on retail shelves on October 27th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will be available in a normal version for $60 and a fight stick bundle for $150.

While we've talked about Tekken 6's online co-op mode, one that reminds us of beat em ups of yesteryear, it appears we'll be waiting a bit longer to get our hands on it. According to the press release the co-op mode will be released as free DLC "this winter." If you were planning on picking the game up at launch for co-op, you might want to wait. Perhaps put it on your list for Santa?

Yeah, every time someone says it will be DLC it isn't. Even if it does come out they aren't close to it now and I dont think developers can justify working more for just DLC.

I guess we'll see but I am not grabbing this till winter.
