Halo Wars Gets a Release Date

Microsoft has announced a release date for Ensemble Studios final project, Halo Wars.  There's something odd about the worldwide release dates, namely, the rest of the world is going to get the game before North America.  Without further delay:

  • Japan and Asia Pacific: Feb. 26
  • EMEA: Feb. 27
  • Americas (US, Canada, Mexico and South America): March 3

Both a Limited Edition and a Regular Edition will be available.

With less than three months till release, there's till very little known about the co-op mode(s) available.  Rest assured, we're working hard to dig up the required information.  We've been scouring the Official Website as well as having our people call their people.  So far we've turned up empty handed.

As a member of the Official Halo Wars Forums, I can say that there is a full co-op campaign. What I can´t say is if this campaign is the same campaign we play single player. BUt since they´ve released no co-op videos so far, I am a little concerned.

I hope they keep their word. Halo without co-op is not Halo at all.
