Co-Op Masterpieces - 2023's Most Anticipated Games

Co-op is still one of the best ways to enjoy video games, and a growing number of releases are now including the option to play with your friends online. As online connectivity has improved, game developers have been able to be far more creative when it comes to producing cooperative games. Now it's not just about finishing the level with your friends, but you can also complete side objectives together, unlock new items, complete challenges, and have a lot more fun.

2023 promises to be an excellent year for video games, with plenty of great releases on the horizon. It's a great time to be a gamer, whether you prefer video games or casino games. There are now loads of options available to you, and the best games and sites are ranked online. You can find US online casino reviews to discover the best casino sites to play legally.

If you're anything like us, you'll be eagerly awaiting the release of multiple games next year. Let's look at some of the biggest and best.

Payday 3

Payday games are well known for featuring cooperative play as a core game mechanic, allowing both local and online multiplayer. Payday 3 was recently announced and is scheduled for release in 2023. So far, its launch has been announced for PlayStation and Xbox, but it's possible it will also be coming to PC. So far, not much is known about the game, but judging by the trailer we've seen, it will be set in New York and features the original gang.

The first-person shooter sees players take on the role of bank robbers as they complete heists together. As in the previous Payday games, players can plan out every detail of the heist as they look to score the most cash and get away without getting caught. So far, it's understood that online co-ops will be supported, but it's not clear whether local co-ops will be too.

Diablo IV

Diablo fans were predictably disappointed by the release of the mobile game Diablo Immortal. However, they didn't have to wait long for the highly anticipated announcement of Diablo IV. Blizzard has announced that the action role-playing game will most likely be released in 2023 across all systems, and a co-op mode is included. The alpha test is currently underway, so more details of the game may emerge over the next few months.

As the fourth instalment of the franchise, Diablo has loads of passionate fans around the world, and it's often considered one of the best games in its genre. The user interface has been improved considerably since Diablo III, making things easier for those who choose to play with a controller. Additionally, couch co-op is supported, allowing friends to play together in the same room as well as playing online.

Ark II

Ark is a survival game set in a primal world filled with dinosaurs. Players must build tools and shelters to survive while avoiding dangerous animals and competing players. The original game had both online PVP and cooperative play, with players working together to defeat each other and survive in a hostile world. The sequel has recently been announced, and the release set is set for 2023.

The original game is extremely popular and available on all platforms, so it's no surprise that so many people are looking forward to the sequel. Interestingly, Vin Diesel plays one of the game's main characters, and it seems to be a lot more story driven than the previous game. It will be interesting to see what new features are included and how they will affect the co-op experience.
