Diablo 3 - Darkening of Tristram Co-Op Stream Recap

Last night we dove into Diablo 3's limited timed event called The Darkening of Tristram. Taking players back to the classic town from Diablo 1, you're tasked with completing 16 levels of a dungeon and defeating the evil lord Diablo himself. Blizzard spiced things up with 8-directional movement, 16-bit graphics, and a bunch of throwback references for longtime fans of the series.

Necromancer Will be Added to Diablo 3, Original Diablo Too

While many were hoping that Blizzard would announce the next entry in the Diablo series at last week's Blizzcon, it appears that all we'll be getting is the return of a familiar class: the Necromancer. Sometime next year, the Rise of the Necromancer pack will be available for Diablo 3 on the PC and the Ultimate Evil Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Unleash the Fury of Diablo 3's Patch 2.4

The digital necromancers down at Blizzard are once again breathing life into the well-bludgeoned corpse of Diablo 3. Trudging through the pits of Hades in order to punch the literal devil never gets old, and with a fresh season of Diablo cresting the horizon, we're due for some updates. It's delightful to see a game teetering on four years old receive a massive content overhaul, especially when you're getting a sudden surge of new stuff completely free of charge. Diablo 3's latest patch, 2.4, is due before January 15th for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Next Diablo 3 Patch Reveals New Area

Here we are, three and a half years after its initial release, and Diablo 3 is still going strong. Just prior to all the excitement that was BlizzCon 2015, some patch notes hit the Diablo website for what's in store for patch version 2.4. One of the bigger items on the list is a new area, Greyhollow Island, that will be accessible in Adventure Mode.

Diablo 3 Brings The Sadness With New Zone, "Ruins of Sescheron"

Perhaps Blizzard has decided that Diablo 3 doesn't tug the heart strings enough between bouts of creature-smashing, or maybe they just straight up hate barbarians.  Whatever the case, they announced at the recently held Blizzcon 2014 the introduction of a new zone highlighting the plight of the savage folk of Sanctuary.  Set within Ac...
