We recently told you about the Chapter of Deceit DLC pack for Army of Two: The 40th Day. This first piece of premium content for the two player co-op titles adds new campaign missions that take place during the main storyline.
The latest developer diary gives us a hint as to what to expect - bigger and badder heavies, unarmed situations, and more await as we're told "Co-Op tactics are necessary to survive." Chapters of Deceit launches April 1st, no price was given yet.

Somebody call the landlord, there's a hole in the floor.
Those of you who follow the Army of Two Twitter account may have noticed a rather exciting announcement this morning: "DLC!!! First look at Chapters of Deceit, coming April 1st." Despite the usual association made with April 1, it seems this no joke and that our co-op heroes from Army of Two: The 40th Day will be back for more action quite soon. From the blog announcement: "Chapters of Deceit features two all-new co-op campaign maps. In the new chapters, players stumble upon information that could lead to ending the invasion by Jonah and his 40th Day Initiative army. However, they quickly learn that everyone is out for themselves and to trust no one but their partner."

If you were looking to join our co-op night this Thursday for Army of Two: The 40th Day, but have neglected to pick up the title, now you can snag it for $39.99 on Amazon in a limited time sale. Both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions qualify for the special pricing.
And If you do, you still have time to win an Extraction code as well! Go go go!

It's time once again for our monthly Xbox Live Co-Op Night, a great chance to beef up your friends list, make new friends, and get those pesky achievements you've been trying to obtain. This month we're playing Army of Two: The 40th Day in both campaign and Extraction modes. Plus - PRIZES!

If you didn't pre-order the Army of Two: The 40th Day, you're probably missing a code to access the four player co-op extraction mode. Don't worry, we have you covered. We're kicking off the latest contest with 30 keys to giveaway to prep for our Xbox Live co-op night next week. Read on to win.

The original Army of Two was marketed to the fans of buddy co-op. In 2009 EA Vancouver promised to vastly improve on the original with Army of Two: The 40th Day. We were impressed with our PAX hands-on and community day visit - did the final game hold up?

Tomorrow is the day. Grab a friend and get ready to fist bump your way into a destruction filled Shanghai in Army of Two: The 40th Day. We've been covering the game in depth since last April, when we got an exclusive first look at the game. Next we saw the game at PAX, where our own Jim and Jason joined Rios and Salem, getting the scoop on weapon customization and more. And just when you thought we couldn't bring you any more coverage, we went hands on with Extraction, and talked to the game's lead multiplayer designer.
2 Player co-op campaign, 4 player co-op extraction, and plenty of fist bumps. Don't forget to wear your custom Co-Optimus armor and bring your Rios and Salem action figures. So sit back, relax, and watch this launch trailer - we'll see you online soon.

Back in the day when I worked at Gamestop, called Electronics Boutique then, we used to push Game Doctors and extended warranties on systems. Now it seems times have changed, instead they are pushing A LOT of copies of Army of Two: The 40th Day. To help with this they've enlisted Rios and Salem who lend their, uh, unique abilities to the customer service profession.
They also play Rock Band.
So how then do they show you how to sell their game? With the other video, the official TV spot for Army of Two: The 40th Day. It's full of ass kickery, co-opery, and uh.. film grain. Just watch it, then you might want to cash in on that Gamestop deal from the first video - trade in 2 games and get Ao2: T4D for $20.

EA has released a brand new multiplayer preview trailer for Army of Two: The 40th Day. Showcasing "All Co-Op, All the time" in various game modes. While we may not agree that some of the modes are considered co-op, but rather team based, it's still looks like a ton of fun to be had with a friend.
Remember the four player co-op extraction mode is exclusive to pre-orders for 30 days. So if you want to get in on that, pre-order now!
In case you've been living under a rock, Army of Two: The 40th Day comes out next week. The promotional juggernaut is going strong with this title, and a Youtube video featuring "The Two Who Make An Army" was just released. It's got a few genuinely funny bits, my favorite involving an errant smoke grenade. Definitely worth checking out!
