New Co-Op Game Releases - September 6 Edition

A new week (I know, we're off by a couple days) is here which means we've got a new bunch of co-op releases. Destiny 2 is the big one here, but we've also got a stylish Zelda throwback title in Songbringer, the sequel no one thought would happen in Knack 2, and LEGO Worlds and Neurovoider both make their way onto the Switch.

Improved Action and Co-Op for Knack 2

Perhaps the most surprising title announced at last year's PlayStation Experience was Knack 2. After the lackluster reception of its predecessor, the fact that the name would ever be invoked again, much less in the context of "and here's a sequel to it," was something very few saw coming. A recent Polygon interview, though, has shed a little light on what happened, and how they've worked to make Knack 2 better in every way.

Knack 2 is in the Works

While Sony had a fair number of surprises for its fans at the PlayStation Experience this past weekend, including the reveal of The Last of Us: Part 2 and Windjammers making its way digitally to PSN, the one game that was perhaps the biggest surprise was Knack 2. While the original has its appeal and drawbacks, it sounds like Japan Studio has heard much of the criticism leveled at the game and put that to work to make the sequel better.
