Our Weekend In Gaming: Spooky Scary Edition

In which we divulge tales of little to no terror.

Hello, my fellow co-op devotees!  I, your faithful host, am here to guide you through an all new spooky edition of Weekend in Gaming.  If you think about it, I'm sorta like the Crypt Keeper, except my tales are way more mundane and have like 100% happier endings.  So... not at all like the Crypt Keeper.

The crew is rather scattered in their weekend plans this time around, but two common threads run throughout: Halo and rats.  Deadly, vicious rats.  We just can't seem to turn our heads away from the destruction of the Warhammer universe via humanoid cheese-obsessives.  With any luck, our combined efforts will at least ensure the safety of the Red Moon Inn.  Maybe we can just hole up in there and wait for all of this to blow over.

Nick Puleo (@NickPuleo) - "The wife is running in the NYC Marathon, so little time for gaming. I hope to squeeze in a few matches of Halo 5 multiplayer though."

Jason Love (@JLove55) - "I'll be fighting off this cold I've come down with by playing some board games with the missus, maybe doing a raid in Destiny, and hopefully checking out a game that has a closed technical test this weekend."

Mike Katsufrakis (@Pheriannath) - "Cats: Neko Atsume, Rats: Vermintide."

Marc Allie (@DjinniMan) - "Borrowing my oldest son's Xbox One so I can actually play Halo 5 co-op with my youngest son while in the same house.."

Eric Murphy (@smurph_em) - "F.A.L.C.O. is back this week and we'll be playing Dead Island: Riptide for our Halloween-ish episode tonight. Tomorrow, I'll be continuing the Haloween theme by playing some Halo 5."

John Bardinelli (@itsamejohn) - "It's a no-brainer for me: Battleborn and Tri Force Heroes."

Sam Tyler (@thereelsamtyler) - "A new arrival in the house has not led to the expected three player co-op sessions, but instead trying to sleep whenever I get the chance.  If gaming does actually happen I have been playing the highly unsuitable Battlefield: Hardline on a very low volume."

Locke Vincent (@LockeVincent) - "Vermintide, candy, scares."

Tally Callahan - "Tales of Zestiria and Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns for upcoming review and editorial. And work, as always."

Enoch Starnes (@enochstarnes) - "I'll be spending a lot of time squabbling over loot in Sword Coast Legends and helping the friendly citizens of Ubersreik with their rat problems in Vermintide."

How about you?  Does your weekend involve any adventures in terror, or are you content to hand out candy and keep the scary stuff at a (dismembered) arm's length?  Let us know in the comments!
