It is March and Spring is in the air. What better way to celebrate than prancing through the daffodils thinking of the free co-op game you will be getting, if you have Games with Gold. From 16th March, Dungeon Defenders will be free on Xbox 360.
Over the past few months Games with Gold has provided some older games, but some goodies, for free. This is certainly the case again with Dungeon Defenders; at 5 out of 5 on the Co-Optimus review scale, this is one game you will want to check out. Defenders is a 4 players co-op game that can be played at home, online, or a combination of both. The RPG/Tower Defense hybrid is a little slow to start with, but once you have upgraded your character a few times, it soon becomes addictive.
Dungeon Defenders is available to download for free from the 16th, which means that another game currently occupies this space, in the form of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, a faster console based take on the classic game. The game is a solo or versus experience, no co-op I'm afraid, but fun nonetheless and worth checking out.
