Double Dragon Revive, the slick 3D reboot of the classic co-op beat 'em up, looks better every time we see it. The game is still several months from release, but Arc System Works continues to release exciting new details. Most recently, the developer revealed new designs and details for many of Revive's enemies. Additionally, the preorder bonus game, Double Dragon Dodgeball, has an enticing trailer that shows off plenty of retro charm.
The Enemy Character Trailer highlights the following enemies:
- Roper (Commander in charge)
- Abobo (Runaway train)
- Linda (Tactician, runs a casino)
- Williams (Willy’s right hand)
- Mihn and Ahn (Twin assassin sisters)
- Joji (Wrestler)
- Marcus (Masked youth who fights with claws)
- Willy (Gun-toting gang boss)
- Raymond (Mysterious warrior)
All are members of the Shadow Warriors, the evil gang that terrorizes Revive's post-apocalyptic world. Read the latest developer diary for more details.
What's more, Arc System Works released a trailer for Double Dragon Dodgeball. It's a special remake of Super Dodgeball featuring Double Dragon characters (and a possible Kunio-kun cameo). Players who preorder Revive will get Double Dragon Dodgeball for free.
Double Dragon Revive will arrive on Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam on October 23. The standard edition costs $34.99, and the Deluxe Edition costs $49.99. The Deluxe Edition includes the main game, digital artworks, digital soundtrack, additional character colors, and 24 hours early access (with preorders).
