It has been, I assume, six years since Bus Simulator 21 brought online co-op bus driving to the world. A lot has happened since then: tariffs, The Muppet Show special, and a third Tron movie, just to name a few things. Well, bus driving games are finally about to catch up, thanks in no small part to Bus Simulator 27 from Simteract and Astragon Entertainment. The upcoming bustravaganza promises more licensed buses than ever, playable coach buses for intercity travel, and 4-player online co-op.

What greater joy is there than a job well done? Trick question - it's the joy of doing so while taking in joyous new landscapes and repping a sick decal. Such are the glories on offer in the official map extension for Bus Simulator 18.

The world of simulation games is about to get a bit bigger. After you're done being a surgeon, managing a farm, repairing cars in a garage, and managing a soccer (sorry, football) team, why not manage your own bus company? Bus Simulator 18 will arrive next Tuesday, June 13, and will not only let you run your own fleet of buses, but get behind the wheel and drive the routes.
