Community group known as Stabyourself.net has finally accomplished a gamer’s dream: taking two awesome games by two legendary publishers, Nintendo and Valve, and put them into one, stellar game.

I have seen many customizable options in my day, but nothing quite like this.

Sony is kicking off a PSN promotion to start 2012 with 30% off numerous downloadable titles for normal members and 50% off the same titles if you have PlayStation Plus.  There's lots of great games on sale both single player and co-op like Dungeon Defenders, PayDay, and Rochard.  Here's what's on sale with the co-op games linked for reference.

Q Games have made quite a name for themselves on the PlayStation 3 with their series of downloadable titles called PixelJunk. We've already seen a lot of great co-op games in the series including PixelJunk Shooter 1 and 2 and PixelJunk Monsters. The latest game is called PixelJunk SideScroller and it shares a lot of similarities with the Shooter titles including some slick visuals, element dynamics, and great music. But just how different is it and how deep is the co-op?

So many games...  so little time.  We don't know what to do with ourselves!  This gaming season's military FPS war begins with Battlefield 3 firing the first rounds tomorrow.  A host of other games of varying genres are joining the fray, each looking for a piece of that substantial holiday pie.  What will you be playing?

The next game in the PixelJunk series from Q-Games is right around the corner, titles PixelJunk SideScroller the two player co-op game has its roots in shoot em ups from days gone by like R-Type, Raiden, and others.  The PSN exclusive game is out on October 25th though a price wasn't given.

Q-Games have been on a roll with addictive cooperative games for the PlayStation Network that look good to boot.  From PixelJunk Monster with its tower defense to PixelJunk Shooter 1 and 2 with their addictive strategy and action, we've grown to be fans of the Japanese studio.
