Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Co-op Review

When it comes to video games, people tend to think of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a beat ‘em up franchise, but the heroes in a half shell have appeared in many other genres as well. A few years ago, a mobile game developer called Super Evil Megacorp had the brilliant idea of making a TMNT roguelike. After first releasing it on Apple Arcad...

The world's first VR Ninja Turtles game will feature online co-op, dudes!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City Announced for Steam VR and Meta Quest

The Ninja Turtles are experiencing a gaming renaissance at present, with several games released last year, TMNT: Splintered Fate just arriving on PlayStation and coming soon on Xbox, the (shamefully single-player) TMNT: Tactical Takedown recently released on Steam, and TMNT: The Last Ronin coming at some point in the future. We can now add one more to the list: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City from Cortopia Studios and Beyond Frames Entertainment. It will be the first TMNT virtual reality game, and it's due out next year.

Cowabunga! TMNT: Splintered Fate Arrives on PlayStation

We've been in love with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate ever since it first appeared on Switch. Since then, the question has always remained: when will Splintered Fate come to the "big boy" consoles? Well, the first such arrival is finally here. TMNT: Splintered Fate is out now on PlayStation! What's more, the "Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam" DLC is free with the PlayStation game through June 3. It sure sounds like pizza time to me!

The TMNT roguelike will finally make it to all consoles, and that's cowabunga cool!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Is Coming Soon to PlayStation and Xbox

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is one of the best TMNT games around, and a really fine co-op roguelike to boot. The only thing that has held it back from greater mainstream success is availability. Namely, it hasn't been available on the two most powerful consoles: Xbox and PlayStation. That will finally change this summer, thank goodness, because Super Evil Megacorp has announced that Splintered Fate is coming to PlayStation on May 20 and Xbox on June 24.

One of the Turtles' greatest allies will finally be playable in one of the greatest TMNT games.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Will Get Casey Jones DLC on February 5

When gamers name of the greatest TMNT game, many of them choose TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. That game is certainly a fantastic beat 'em up, but I would argue that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate from Super Evil Megacorp is an even better game. Well, now Splintered Fate is about to get even betterer thanks to the "Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam" DLC. It's coming to Steam, Switch, and iOS on February 5!

At last, the TMNT roguelike is out on PC, and it even features matchmaking and cross-play.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Is Now Kicking Shell on Steam

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is a TMNT-themed roguelike from Super Evil Megacorp. Originally an Apple Arcade game, Splintered Fate made the jump to Switch back in July. Not long after, the Steam version was announced. Now it's finally here, and it's still a kick-butt Ninja Turtles experience. Splintered Fate supports 4-player local and online co-op, plus cross-play with existing versions, so finding a foursome will be cinch.

The Radical Reptiles DLC looks radical, but it's not actually out yet. Cowabummer!

Uh oh, Xbox Revealed the New TMNT: Shredder's Revenge DLC a Little Early [Updated]

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is one of the most popular beat 'em ups of the last few years, so it came as no surprise when the game received a DLC entitled "Dimension Shellshock." We even interviewed the developer, Tribute Games, about it. What did come as a surprise, however, is when Xbox published a trailer for a second DLC called "Radical Reptiles" today. No press release was sent out, and the DLC doesn't seem to be available just yet. Update: The DLC went live on September 24!

This has been a great year for Ninja Turtles games, and it's not over yet. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed from Outright Games and AHeartfulofGames is due out on October 18. Possibly the most ambitious TMNT game this year, Mutants Unleashed will feature a new story based on the most recent film, lots of fresh mutants to battle, and 2-player local co-op. The latest gameplay trailer provides a tantalizing glimpse of the Turtles action to come!

TMNT: Splintered Fate Will Get Online Matchmaking and DLC in the Months to Come

When Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate arrived on Switch last month, we were seriously impressed by the game. Super Evil Megacorp has created an exciting and addictive roguelite featuring everyone's favorite teenage turtles. Splintered Fate features 4-player local and online co-op, but there's a catch: it has no matchmaking! That makes it tough to find people to splinter your fate with. Thankfully, the developer recently released a roadmap that promises matchmaking and more cool features for the future.

The second of those titles is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, which has just arrived on Switch courtesy of Super Evil Megacorp. Splintered Fate is the first Turtles roguelite, and it features 4-player local and online play. We've spent some time in co-op in order to bring you these detailed impressions.
