Cowabunga! TMNT: Splintered Fate Arrives on PlayStation

The addictive roguelike out on PlayStation, AND the Casey Jones DLC is free for a limited time.

We've been in love with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate ever since it first appeared on Switch. Since then, the question has always remained: when will Splintered Fate come to the "big boy" consoles? Well, the first such arrival is finally here. TMNT: Splintered Fate is out now on PlayStation! What's more, the "Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam" DLC is free with the PlayStation game through June 3. It sure sounds like pizza time to me!

TMNT: Splintered Fate is an isometric roguelike in the style of Hades. Players select the Turtle of their choice (or Casey Jones via DLC) and head on a mission to the sewers and beyond in order to rescue Master Splinter from the Foot Clan. Whenever players clear rooms, they get to choose from a random array of upgrades and rewards before moving on. Challenging boss counters, an authentic and fully voiced story, and plenty of permanent upgrades to buy between runs will keep players coming back for more. 4-player local and online co-op with cross-play further enhance the experience.

The PlayStation version runs great, especially on PlayStation 5. It gets the same benefits of the Steam version, namely quick loading times (after the initial load) and a smooth frame rate. The arrival of the PlayStation game seems to have bolstered the player base too, so finding open games is nice and easy right now. Considering how much fun there is to be had with Splintered Fate, I bet lots of the new players will stick around.

TMNT Splintered Fate Casey Jones DLC offer

The "Casey Jones & the Junkyard Jam" DLC adds Casey Jones as a playable character, the Junkyard area with two new bosses, new enemies, new unlockable artifacts, and new story scenes. The DLC sells for $6.99. Players who don't own the DLC can We'll have co-op reviews of the full game and DLC soon!

There's just one more platform to go... Splintered Fate will arrive on Xbox on Tuesday, June 24.

TMNT: Splintered Fate costs $29.99 on PlayStationSwitch, and Steam, and it's also available on iOS. From now until June 3, players who own the game can add the DLC (including the Junkyard level) to their PlayStation Store cart and check out with the DLC for free.
