Similar to the classic "Streets" map remake that was unlockable for Rainbow Six Vegas 2, two fighter jets are free to unlock by simply linking your Gamertag or PSN ID to Ubi.com via the in-game menu.
Ubisoft posted easy-to-follow instructions on their forum this morning, then spread the word via Twitter. You can unlock the XA-20 Razorback -- the fictional plane that first appeared in EndWar -- and the historical Saab 35 Draaken.

Unleashing these aircrafts is easy:
- choose “extras” from the main menu
- select “exclusive content"
- enter your account information, or create one from within the exclusive content menu. If you’ve already linked your Ubisoft account, you’ll be able to skip entering your account information.
- simply select the aircraft you want to download first and click unlock. Once the game restarts, you’ll get a pop-up letting you know that you have new content.
- Repeat the process for your second aircraft.
You can use the aircrafts immediately in Team DeathMatch, and earn access to them in Campaign by leveling up.

With these jets, it won't be long before you're pulling off sweet maneuvers like the one below and posting the replay videos to YouTube!

This approach of encouraging people to give out their personal information is welcome. Ubisoft gets data about you, and you get something in return. Compare this to Electronic Arts approach of REQUIRING gamers to sign up for EA Spam lists, and you begin to see a fundamental difference in the two corporations.
After playing the BattleField demo on Xbox Live, my mailbox was filled with all kinds of Electronic Arts crap. I've been boycotting them ever since, since nobody should have the right to sign me up for mailing lists just for playing a demo.
