Ghostbusters Xbox 360 And PS3 Side-By-Side

When it comes to comparing same games on different consoles, most of the time it simply feels like comparing apples to apples. Unfortunately, in the case of Ghostbusters, we're comparing apples on a tree to fallen apples that may have been hit by a lawnmower once or twice. Since it's important to know where your money is going, we felt it necessary to share the differences this time.
Visually, the Playstation 3 has always claimed more impressive graphics over the Xbox 360 version of almost any multiplatform game. Sometimes the motion blur gets to be a little much in games like inFAMOUS, but we tend to appreciate the shiny screen anyway. Whether the PlayStation 3 actually has better graphics than the 360 is up in the air. In the case of Ghostbusters on the PlayStation 3, the screen is unusually muddled for retail copy comparisons, which was discouraging to fans who held their breath for this one. Texture quality is especially poor on the PS3 for Ghostbusters.

LensofTruth.com had some Rollover screenshots to better illustrate what we mean. Otherwise, if you're undecided which direction to go, assuming you have both options available to you, you know what you're looking at this time.
The good news for PS3 owners is both versions performed nearly the same. Aside from the massive mandatory install (almost 4 gigs at about 8 minutes!) on the PS3, which unfortunately didn't help the load times actually improve, the games were otherwise on even ground there. The control on both systems was also reported as being equally as smooth. So, the big issues with the PS3 version were visuals and that pesky mandatory install.
Co-optimus heartily recommends the Xbox 360 version, for all your co-op needs.

I think you may need to re-evaluate the word "flamebait"...because -- as you can see -- you are the first to make a derogatory comment. I think the word you're searching for is "ammunition". Unless I'm completely mistaken, in which case please correct me.
Either way, your comment is misplaced; Kat's write-up is informative. As an owner of all three major consoles, she has no reason to display favoritism. It's frustrating for Xbox owners -- such as myself -- to feel like our money is well-spent, and then see someone develop a title for the Xbox first and gimp the PS3 version. We're here for co-op, not console wars...anytime someone here loses, we all lose.
It just plain sucks that ANYone is getting lowballed for their $60.
Do you mean exactly the opposite of what you said? If not, I'd like to see the games you are talking about.
He's got you there, Kat. The only side-by-side that I know of where the PS3 had the upper hand was COD4, and then only barely.
Of course, spiterod, she could be using the word "boasted" in the literal sense... Lots of people boast.
'Boast' doesn't mean 'has'; one of the boasted selling points of the PS3 is the bluray, which is boasting improved graphics - whether it's true or not is why websites like LensofTruth.com are around
The textures on the PS3 are just atrocious though. It's like they uploaded the PS2 ones instead.
Well, I guess I would rather have a version that doesnt look as good than have no version at all. Too bad they couldnt make it look the same on both systems though.
My thoughts exactly.

Kat already cleared up what she meant by responding. If that's not good enough, then maybe you're just looking for a cookie. Here ya go:
While you're chewing on that, keep in mind that if she had used your suggested phrase, it would still be wrong...most of the boasting is done by PS3 fanboys, a topic that she tactfully avoided.
Also, this phrase is not true "Visually, the Playstation 3 has always boasted impressive graphics over the Xbox 360 version of almost any game." It is exactly the opposite in multiplatform games.
lol... apparently you didn't read the comments
EDIT: That cookie looks gooooooooood.
That's weird, it's like the PS3 version has a white wash over it.
She didn't avoid fanboism, she added to it by misrepresenting the qualities of the PS3.
Kat doesn't need protection, trust you me. Thank you for your comments; duly noted.
