That's right folks, everyone's favorite trash talking metal head will only be available at Gamestop if you pre-order Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Upon doing so you'll receive a code to unlock Juggernaut as a playable character in the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 version of the game.

I don't know about you, but in my opinion, having such a major character as an exclusive to a retailer is pretty lame. Costumes are one thing, but something that can actually change the gameplay is a whole other barrel of monkeys. I wonder how this will work for the online co-op as well?

In other Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 news, the VIP lounge is now open at the official website. Registering as a VIP will earn you exclusive access to screens, character reveals, and community prizes.

Among things at the lounge are a casual web game that puts players at the heart of the Civil War registration, asking them to choose sides. As you battle it out you'll be eligible to win prizes like; Xbox 360 Elite consoles, signed memorabilia from Stan Lee, a grand prize of a 42” 1080p flat screen TV and more.

Yea I don't agree with that at all. They should allow everyone to use him not just people who preorder from a certain store .

Well I don't agree with what they're doing. But this won't affect online co-op because I'm sure the character is already in the game, this just allows you to PLAY as him, so someone you play co-op with will be able to see/hear him, but not actually select him as their hero.

Unfortunately, I plan on pre-ordering MUA2 just for this reason. While I hate having to pre-order from Gamestop, I gotta have Juggernaut!

If it's like the original game, it'll just be a dumb code that you enter to play as him. Without a doubt, the code will be put up on GameFAQs.

As far as I now, it will be treated as DLC, thus you will have to redeem a code. Redeemable codes wont work twice.

I dont believe it, but according to joystiq Juggernaut is available (at least on PSN)for $1.99...

I cant believe I preordered. I would actually rather have paid the $2...

I preordered from gamestop only because I can do the in-store pickup option online and never have to put 5 bucks down, plus I can just stop in on my way home and get it.

I don't have alot of options as far as getting games unless I go to gamestop or wally world .

If I had the choice I would just order from amazon, so it would be at my house on release day and would be free shipping.
