Castle Crashers developer The Behemoth has recently been rolling out details about the beta testing phase of its next game, BattleBlock Theater. Sign ups went live in January, but the start date was a fuzzy "February or March". Now, the exact day the flood gates will be thrown open has been revealed: February 28, 2013. Approximately 10,000 lucky souls will gain access to the game on that date, at which point the beta tester's task list will become the most entertaining to-do list ever written.
Sign ups are still open for anyone interested in trying to grab a slot. There are a few requirements to look over before dropping your name in the hat:
1. You must own a working Xbox 360 that has a reliable internet connection
2. You must have an active Xbox LIVE Gold account.
3. You must have an internet connection and a registered The Behemoth Forums account.
4. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions and Non-Disclosure Agreement.
(This will be a part of the registration form)
5. You must be willing and able to fulfill the Beta Testing Task List during the Beta testing period.
6. You must be at least 13 or older. Any applicants under the age of 18 must get prior consent by their parent or guardian and have the parent/guardian review all the Required Reading and Registration Form.
