PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only, and no Europe release

Dark Souls Trilogy Pack Headed to America and Asia

Good news if you live in the U.S. or Asia and haven't gotten your fill of Dark Souls yet. Bandai Namco announced at Gamescom that a special Dark Souls Trilogy bundle will be released on October 19, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The bundle includes the recent Dark Souls: Remastered release,  as well as the Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades editions, meaning you get all the DLC for all the games. That's a lot of bonfires and estus flasks!

Prepare to Die will be replaced in the store altogether

Dark Souls: Remastered on PC Will Be Half Price for Existing Owners

If you've already taken the plunge into the world of Dark Souls on the PC via the "Prepare to Die Edition," then there's some good news. When Dark Souls: Remastered launches on May 25, you'll be able to buy it at a 50% discount. Not quite as good as a free update, but better than nothing, I suppose.

The Solaire amiibo is delayed too... sad sun praising

Dark Souls: Remastered Delayed A Bit on the Switch

Yesterday, Bandai Namco tweeted out that Dark Souls: Remastered would not be arriving on the Nintendo Switch at the same time as the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions. Instead, it will now be coming sometime "summer 2018." Perhaps the even worse bit of news here is that the Solaire amiibo is also delayed.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Prepare to Die in 4K This May in Dark Souls: Remastered

This seemed like an inevitability. Today, Bandai Namco announced that the popular third-person action RPG, Dark Souls, would be enjoying a new release this year as Dark Souls: Remastered. Not only will players be able to discover the mysteries of Lordran once more in high-definition and 4K resolution (for compatible systems), but you'll also be able to enjoy jolly cooperation with even more friends.
