There's some new DLC available for Operation Flashpoint: Red River.  Titled "Valley of Death, " this content has eight new Fireteam Engagements.  You'll get an additional two missions for each FE mode, including Combat Sweep, CSAR, Last Stand, and Rolling Thunder.  These are 4 player online co-op scenarios with objectives like neutralizing all enemies, holding a position, or escort duty.  We were a little luke warm on Operation Flashpoint: Red River, giving it a 3.5 out of 5 in our Co-Op Review, due in some part to the character SSgt. Knox.  Luckily, the offensive military stereotype doesn't make an appearance in the Fireteam Engagements.  If you have three friends who are good at military shooters, there's a lot of fun to be had here.

Didn't this game come out months ago?  It sure did, if you live in Europe.  Operation Flashpoint: Red River will be gracing North America with its presence next week.  This latest video is similar to the others in style.  An uber-tough military-type explains the situation:  American Marines versus the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army, in a real (but made-up-sounding) country called Tajikistan.  It's the kind of video that will have you chanting "USA! USA! USA!" at your computer.  I'm home right now, so I'm only weirding-out a baby and two dogs, and who are they to judge me?  I was thinking of sending a copy of this game to my cousin.  He's currently rooming with a Chinese exchange student...  Nah, I'm just kidding.  Anyway, the video builds appropriate tension while showcasing some beautiful gameplay footage.  

If you're a fan of first person tactical shooters, and you enjoy sniping your enemies from afar, Operation Flashpoint: Red River has got the class for you.  The latest video for the super-realistic military shooter focuses on the Scout Class soldier,  Jose Soto.  You'll be able to reach out and touch your enemy with his long-range rifle using cover and physics.  Sounds sciencey!

Operation Flashpoint: Red River is almost upon us.  Okay, if you're in Europe it's already here.  Nuts to you!  In this latest developer diary the good folks at Codemasters discuss the new command wheel used for giving orders, the graphical details of bombs and getting shot, and a host of other things.  They manage to do all this while sitting in some sort of dilapidated warehouse.  Man, I thought my work space was bad.  The game is supposed to be an incredibly realistic military shooter, which is just a fancy way to say that bullets killify everything real good.

For you Co-Optimers in the PAL region, this is an early Co-Op Release Alert, sort of - Operation Flashpoint: Red River will be available this Thursday, April 21st, as planned...for you. For us North Americans, the release date has been shot past May and impacted square on June 7th.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River is coming out next month, and today we've got another trailer for you.  This one profiles Rifleman Sgt. We have three new videos for Operation Flashpoint: Red River.  The realistic first person shooter will be more taxing than your average military shooter.  One or two hits and it's game over.  The first video is just a snippet of taking damage.  Rushing into battle will be hazardous to your health.  The second video focuses on calling in an air strike, with spectacular results.  The final vid is a preview of the upcoming story and conflict at the focus of the game, set in the Central Asian country of Tajikistan.

Codemasters have announced a release date for Operation Flashpoint: Red River.  That date is April 21st in the EMEA region and April 26th in North America.  The game features four player co-op throughout the campaign as well as numerous single co-op missions that are customizable.  It'll launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Codemasters has been pumping up the troops ahead of the Operation Flashpoint: Red River release; the latest morale boost is this trailer, titled "Entry Into Tajikistan". Once again proving their knack for creating a seriously foreboding tone, Codemasters is promising difficult terrain and harsh guerrilla warfare.

Codemasters have release some brand new screenshots as well as the first developer diary for the upcoming 4 player co-op tactical shooter, Operation Flashpoint: Red River.  The sequel to last year's Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising will feature all new characters to play as in a squad based combat set druing a fictional war.

Codemaster's Operation Flashpoint: Red River is set to release this spring. A new series of videos is out, introducing players to the new characters.  The first one profiles Staff Sergeant Knox, a wayward youth from Detroit, who now walks a path "paved with purpose."  The video is fun, even if it seems like a Marine Corps recruiting commercial.  The game will feature drop-in/drop-out 4 player co-op on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River is Codemasters super-realistic modern military shooter.  Designed around 4 player online co-op play, the game takes place in the fictional-sounding country of Tajikistan.  Apparently, the United States Marine Corps. and  the People's Liberation Army of China are in some type of competition to see who is the best at urinating.  There are some insurgents that need killing, as well.  A new trailer sets the tone, and has the uber-bad-ass line: "We Feast on the Fury of Battle."  Hilarity ensues.
