Slugging through the cosmos

Space Sluggers Blasts Onto PCs This Year

For centuries, mankind has often turned its gaze to the stars and embraced its desire to gun down every living organism that wasn't born on terra firma. Hoping to capitalize on this uniquely alien-oriented bloodlust, the minds down at Rocktastic Games and Surprise Attack Games have banded together create Space Sluggers. No, Space Sluggers does not detail the hilarious misadventures of a galaxy faring baseball team. It's actually about a bunch of heavily armed humans with a grudge against extraterrestrials rampaging in top-down shmup fashion.

Get Ready For Impending Gloom With This New Bloodborne Story Trailer

Ladies and Gentlemen, the hour of darkness is nearly upon us.  A scant few weeks from now, Bloodborne will begin to creep into our lives.  It will happen slowly at first; everyday objects will gradually morph into geometries reminiscent of Victorian England.  Desks viewed at certain angles will vaguely take on the shape of torture racks, cubicle walls will play host to shadowy gargoyles who appear more than willing to hop down for a midday treat.  Then, the bleakness will consume us.  Hours will be spent lying awake at night, praying for a few moments of sleep and reprieve from our waking nightmare.  Come March 24th, Bloodborne and the creatures who inhabit it will eventually become all we know.

Blizzard Won't Add Microtransactions in Upcoming Diablo 3 Patch

At least within the North American game market, people are usually dissatisfied when it comes to the inclusion of microtransactions in most AAA titles, and we can't entirely blame them. Like the more recent case of Evolve, the business practice can greatly impact initial sales of the game upon release if not treaded upon carefully. Blizzard, on the other hand, has thought of reintroducing them into one of their most popular IP's, Diablo 3, once again, but in an a much larger region.

Deep Down Still Exists, is Going Through Some Revisions
