We haven't gotten a whole lot of new information about Perfect Dark on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, but we did get some pretty nice screens. It definitely looks to be shaping up to be a solid remake - cleaned up visuals, co-op, and that good old fashioned N64 feeling.
The upcoming Perfect Dark Xbox Live port being developed by 4J Studios is looking pretty swanky. It promises 1080p display at 60fps, which shouldn't be a challenge for a nine year old N64 title. Thankfully though, the developers wouldn't settle for N64 level graphics.
Instead we see in the latest screenshots that we have updated textures and character models which make the game slightly more modern looking. Expect Perfect Dark to hit this winter and support split screen and online co-op play for two players.
Sometimes the words "digitally remastered" is like music to our ears, especially in the case of our Nintendo 64 classics! This time, we've got the original Perfect Dark on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, thanks to Rare and Microsofts team up. Perfect Dark has an updated, smoothed out frame rate, as well as being rendered in high definition. Joanna Dark would be proud, as long as it's not all just another one of those galactic conspiricies.
