Cops and Robbers DLC Coming to Burnout Paradise April 30th

Anyone remember back in the earlier days of Need for Speed where there was a sub-game where you could play as a cop or criminal? Well, the Cops and Robbers DLC for Burnout Paradise is sounding a lot like it. Unfortunately Criterion hasn’t given any info such as price or what the DLC will contain, but we can certainly hope and will know for sure on April 30th.

I would not be surprised to see the next Burnout unveiled at E3 this year.

GTA: Chinatown Wars Bombs

In a rather big surprise, the new GTA: Chinatown Wars only sold 89,000 copies in two weeks on the DS. Could this be another example of M-rated games not selling well on Nintendo’s platforms? Could be. I seem to remember even the PSP iterations selling better than this one. It’s too bad because I’ve heard the game is quite good, although I haven’t played it myself.

Sony Asks for Input on God of War III Collector's Edition

Sony sent out a survey last week asking people what they would like included in the God of War III Collector’s Edition. The second game had an extra DVD with loads of things on it and sold for the same price as a regular game. Would be nice if Sony did that again, wouldn’t it. The choices in the survey were such things as: a graphic novel, full soundtrack, exclusive DLC, a t-shirt and the previous games on a Blu-Ray disc. I’d go for soundtrack and previous games honestly even though I’ve already played them.

Nintendo Promises New Iteration of "Key Property" This Year

Nintendo attempts to get us excited by saying a “key property” will be out this year. Now, they said pretty much the same thing last year and showed off Wii Music at E3, so let’s not get our hopes up. Best guess would be a Zelda game since it has been almost 3 years now since the last one.

inFAMOUS Dated

I seem to be the only one still calling this game inFAMOUS with all the capital letters (even Word doesn’t like it). Even Sony has gone to calling it inFamous now, but I’ll keep up with the stupidity of the capital letters, makes it look so much cooler. Anyway, the game has been pushed up to a May 26th release date, probably to put more distance between it and Prototype’s release on June 9th. The fact is the two games are similar, but inFAMOUS is an exclusive title to the PS3 while Prototype is coming out on multiple platforms. Should be interesting because both games could be good.
