My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery Is Bringing the Magic This May

The pony faithful will get to play as six different ponies in 2-player local co-op.

Hasbro's venerable My Little Pony franchise has been bringing joy to kids and the young at heart for quite a while now. Following the 2022 release of My Little Pony: A Maritime Bay Adventure, Outright Games and Drakhar Studio is back with another co-op pony game: My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery. This one is heading to consoles and PC in May, and it will feature 2-player local co-op.

Both A Maritime Bay Adventure and the upcoming A Zephyr Heights Mystery seem to be based on the Netflix animated series, My Little Pony: Make Your Mark. It's a shame that Outright and Drakhar aren't doing a game based on the fantastic My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic cartoon, but that show has been over for a while, so it makes sense to adapt the latest show instead.

My Little Pony A Zephyr Heights Mystery co-op

Official description:

In this open-world mystery adventure, everypony can return to the kingdom of Equestria. Choosing from any one of the Mane Six, players will work together to tame an unstable magic which has sent the cloud city of Zephyr Heights out of control. Along the way, players can find more ways to have fun with replayable minigames like Pipp's Photo Shoot, Hitch is on the Trail, and Sunny's Smoothie Delivery. Special collectibles, photo opportunities and a closet full of accessories are also available for fans to customise their personal hooftastic style.

Bringing the magic of friendship to new heights, MY LITTLE PONY: A Zephyr Heights Mystery also includes the option of two-player co-op, to uncover the magical mystery with another special pony pal!

Outright Games is the clear market leader of licensed titles, with their lineup including Bluey: The Videogame, Jumanji: Wild Adventures, and the upcoming TMNT: Mutants Unleashed, to name just a few. Their new My Little Pony title has a great chance of being a quality kids' game.

My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery will arrive on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Steam on May 17.
