Dora the Explorer is a heartrending tale of a girl who gets lost in the jungle and must evade a carnivorous fox called Swiper. At least, I think that's what it's about; I haven't seen the show in several years. Well, nowadays, there's a CG-animated series called Dora on Paramount Plus. That show will soon have a video game adaptation from Outright Games, Dora: Rainforest Rescue, and it will feature 2-player local co-op.

I don't know if you've heard, but Barbie is a pretty big brand. There was this movie about Barbie last year that made like a jillion dollars, and I guess there's a popular toy line or something too. Well then, it only makes sense that a fresh barbie videogame is in the works. Barbie Project Friendship is coming from Outright Games. It will support 2-player local co-op when it arrives in October.

The folks at Outright Games are always developing licensed games, mostly based on kids' properties. Well, this time they've grabbed a bunch of kids' properties and rolled them up into a big ball of happiness. The result is Nick Jr. Party Adventure, a puzzle adventure that crosses over Dora the Explorer, Paw Patrol, Blue's Clues, and other franchises in one big platformer. The game will support 2-player local co-op, and it's due on consoles and PC in October.

Hasbro's venerable My Little Pony franchise has been bringing joy to kids and the young at heart for quite a while now. Following the 2022 release of My Little Pony: A Maritime Bay Adventure, Outright Games and Drakhar Studio is back with another co-op pony game: My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery. This one is heading to consoles and PC in May, and it will feature 2-player local co-op.

Bluey the dog has long been an Australian national hero, but he has never appeared in a videogame until now. Thanks to Outright Games, a developer that specializes in licensed games based on children's properties, there is now a game all about Bluey and his rectangular family. Bluey: The Videogame is now available on all consoles and Steam, and it even supports 4-player local co-op.

Ask anybody, and they'll tell you that Jumanji is a dangerous game. That hasn't kept people from playing it, though, whether in the movies, an animated TV series, or video games. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem debuted in theaters over the summer, receiving critical acclaim and launching an extremely successful toy line. Given the popularity of the film (not to mention that of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge), it comes as no surprise that a video game tie-in is in the works. And who is more likely to deliver that game than Outright Games, the English developer responsible for licensed titles like Paw Patrol World and Baby Shark: Sing & Swim Party? Alright, so the Mutant Mayhem game is likely to be targeted at kids, but more TMNT games are always welcome!

PAW Patrol is a super successful CG animated series that has been running for ten seasons now. The story follows a young boy and his team of heroic dogs as they get in little adventures. The premise naturally lends itself to video games, the latest of which will be titled PAW Patrol World. This one will allow two local players to team up and save the PAW Patrol Day festivities from the nefarious Kitten Catastrophe Crew.

Star Trek has experienced a resurgence lately thanks to an arsenal of new shows on the Paramount Plus streaming service. Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks are the clear cream of the crop, but the animated Prodigy show stands out as the first Star Trek series aimed at kids in many years. Now kids and other fans can experience the show in a whole new way, as Outright Games and Spanish developer Tessera Studios have released Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova on consoles and PC. The game features 2-player local co-op, so aspiring captains can bring along a first officer to share in the fun.
