When Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD arrived on everything but PlayStation in late 2023, nobody was very surprised. The Behemoth usually releases its games on Xbox before PlayStation. Still, the Sony gamers of the world longed for some of that sweet Alien Hominid action. There time is finally about to come on June 10, baby. That's when Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD launch on PlayStation consoles.
Alien Hominid Invasion
Alien Hominid Invasion is a spin-off that teams up to four local or online players up in horde mode-like 2D stages. The team will have to complete various objectives while they blast away at never-ending armies of human and robotic bad guys. Upon completing enough objectives, players race to the extraction point in order to complete the level.
After clearing several stages, players will stop at a hideout where they can bank the loot they've found so far and purchase new equipment. Fail a level before then, and you won't get to keep the new stuff you picked up! It's a fun and challenging game structure that encourages replay and cooperation. Alien Hominid Invasion will debut on PlayStation on Tuesday, June 10. It currently sells for $19.99 on Xbox, Switch, and Steam. Invasion is also available in a bundle with Alien Hominid HD, recently remastered for modern platforms, for total of $24.99.
Alien Hominid HD
Alien Hominid HD is a run-and-gun shooter in the style of Metal Slug. It features:

- Easy - 7 lives and continues, with two shields from weapon pickups
- Normal - 5 lives and continues, with one shield from weapon pickups
- INSANE - 3 lives and continues, one hit kills
- All of the original mini games are here for any aliens wanting a quick break, including 201 levels of PDA Games, Super Soviet Missile Mastar, All You Can Eat, Neutron Ball, Pinata Fiesta, and Challenge Mode.
Alien Hominid HD is also due on PlayStation on June 10. The game already sells for $11.99 on Xbox, Switch, and Steam. It's available in a bundle with Alien Hominid Invasion for $24.99.
