Which do you prefer, the carrot or the stick? Most people would immediately choose the carrot, believing the choice is a metaphor about whether they want to be forced or encouraged to do something. But what if the question was; which of these would you use to fend off a bear, or, what would you like for dinner? Last time I checked, eating sticks was not good for your eyesight and although bears like veg, they will still probably attack you.
Despite any misgivings, carrot lovers should rejoice as Lionhead are offering some bonus items for people who buy a new copy of Fable III, or those lucky enough to get a second hand copy with an unused code (good luck). Rather than locking out the co-op mode or forcing to you to call your character Cheapy McCheapo, Lionhead will give gamers a one off code. Unlocks include: a raising the dead potion, a slow time potion, a highlander tattoo, his 'n' hers 'Scot' outfits, and a Red Setter dog skin.
Add these extras to the unlockables available in the various novels, controllers etc and you may already have a pantry of costumes, weapons and skins to choose from when the game is released this week.
