New Characters Revealed in Skylanders: Giants Videos and Screens

More Skylanders figures are heading our way. The new Skylanders Giants game will be out this October. It will launch on every conceivable system and require parents to buy even more of the lovely little action figures for their children. Okay, you can use your old figures in Giants, but trust me, your kids are going to require you to buy more.

In the following videos you can get an eyeful of Chill and Shroomboom. Chill is a Water-based Skylander and is sporting a double-tipped spear and shield combo. Shroomboom is a Life element Skylander. He gets invited to all the parties, because he's a fungi. I'll just go ahead and award myself 20 internet points for finally working my dad's favorite joke into a post. Both Skylanders are disappointingly regular sized. I can't wait to see more of the Giant figures. 

Chill can summon a narwhal. It does not bacon.

Shroomboom's big into slingshots. So get ready for your kid to want one of those, too.

Skylanders Giants supports two player local co-op. It is scheduled to release on October 21st. It will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo 3DS.
