Gaming, the final frontier. This is the making of video for the upcoming 2 player co-op game Star Trek. Its mission: to explore exactly why co-op was central to developer Digital Extremes' vision for the game, to seek out new game footage, to boldly go where a similar video went the other week.
Star Trek: The Video Game is entering the final phase before arriving in shops on 23rd April. A series of making of trailers are planned by NamcoBandai that will explore how the game came about. This may lead to a Tribble-load of videos coming our way, but the good news is that the first making of is all about co-op. In the video, Digital Extremes stress the importance of having co-op in the game, saying it had to be included.
With Spock taking on a stealthy role and Kirk driving onwards like he is late for a date with a green alien; the two gameplay types will hopefully gel seamlessly. Check out the trailer below for more info:
