Bad news folks - Capcom is packing up the zeppelin and moving Lost Planet 2 and Monster Hunter 3 (US release) out of early next year. The latest investor docs for the company have pushed both games past the fourth fiscal quarter which ends on March 31st, 2010.
The folks at Bohemia Interactive aren't resting on their laurels when it comes to ArmA 2. In what seems like a response to yesterday's DLC release for Operation Flashpoint 2 comes the release of the 1.05 patch for ArmA 2.

Joystiq reported today that SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo 3 is being delayed. This is most likely to give Sony more time to print the game's ludicrously long title on game case covers and related retail material.
Take Two Interactive was reportedly "frustrated" by the weaker-than-expected sales of the Grand Theft Auto IV episodes, The Lost and the Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Apparently they figure the price point is well worth the content.
We just received word that Assault Heroes is coming to the Playstation Network in 2010. Described as a "direct port" of the Xbox Live Arcade original, Assault Heroes for the PSN will feature two player co-op, local or online. Tons of weapons, destructible environments, cool vehicles, and of course lots of explosions will tempt fans of old-school overhead shooters when it's released next year!
A couple of interesting pieces of DLC are headed to cute, casual, and co-op friendly LittleBIGPlanet. The first is the Pirates of the Caribbean costume pack. The pack has six costumes for $5.99, including an adorable "Sack Sparrow" and squid-faced Davey Jones. If you're short on treasure, the six costumes will be available separately for $1.99 each.
The first content pack for Operation Flashpoint 2 has been released. Dubbed Overwatch, the content pack adds two new multiplayer modes and two new co-op missions.
One music game that slipped out of this fall was Def Jam Rapstar. The hip-hop focused game looks to cover a genre of music that is generally not well represented in today's rythym and music titles.
The original Dead Space was an amazing entry into the survival horror genre for Visceral Games. Despite co-op being originally planned for the game, when it was released we lacked Isaac's twin brother by our side. Dead Space Extraction on the Wii had co-op, though some would argue that light gun shooters are more suited for the mode. Now sometime later with a sequel being announced, the question has come up once again - "Is there co-op in Dead Space 2?"
If you're looking for a last minute gift idea for the co-op gamer in your life, but just aren't quite sure which game to get them with all the great co-op titles that came out this year - perhaps you can let them choose.
