Long ago, the studio that developed the incredible Bionic Commando: Rearmed broke up. Some of the remaining staff formed Might & Delight, which would go on to release games like Book of Travels and the Shelter series. Might & Delight's first game, though, was an ultra-hard platformer called Pid. Ten years later, Pid is about to find a new life on Nintendo Switch. On November 18, a whole new generation will get to face the game's beauty, challenge, and 2-player local co-op.

The first Aragami was a slick co-op ninja game, though the combat could have been better. Developer Lince has taken that to heart with Aragami 2, which promises improved movement and combat as well as 3-player online co-op. The game is due out on September 17. Even better for Xbox fans, it will be launch on Xbox Game Pass as well. Araga...

Don't look now, but I think Aragami 2 is sneaking up behind you.  It's moving really slowly, though, so I wouldn't worry too much about it right now.  In fact, you probably have until sometime in 2021 before they determine your fate.

I don't think I realized it until now, but I've been spending too much time in the light recently.  I mean, sure, it's warm and comforting or whatever, but sometimes you just need to accept the cold embrace of darkness.  Luckily for me, Aragami has a new expansion out today, so I have a legitimate reason to dip into the shadows for a bit.

When at their best, stealth games feel like a mixture of logical puzzle-solving and pure, chaotic improvisation.  They feel alive, and yet decipherable in ways real life can't be.  They let the player feel both control over a situation and a degree of wariness, of uncertainty....
