A hybrid F2P co-op action RPG that is way more than the sum of its parts

Breach Hands On Impressions and Developer Interview

QC Games unveiled their debut title, Breach, a couple months ago during this year's Gamescom. Billed as a third-person, co-op action RPG, there weren't a lot of details about what the game actually was at first. After getting my hands on it for a bit, I can see why. This might be one of the hardest titles I've ever had to describe while also being one of the most fun.

Custom characters, campaign co-op, and more!

Attack on Titan 2 Hands-On Impressions

Koei Tecmo’s first Attack on Titan game was a surprisingly good adaptation of the popular anime. The co-op Scout mode wasn’t too fancy, but it did give players lots of missions to take on with online friends. Attack on Titan 2 is set to raise the bar a bit further when it arrives on consoles this March. We got our hands on the big-screen and Switch versions of the game at a recent preview event, checking out the character creation feature, new multiplayer mode, and more.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Demo Impressions

Vermintide 2 is slated to come out sometime early next year with a number of improvements over the original, including a new hero progression system with different “career” options, a better loot system, and a new enemy force to face - Chaos. A beta is on its way, but ahead of that, we got to check out a limited demo and it left us wanting to see more.

While Nintendo announced "Salmon Run", a kind of four player horde mode for the forthcoming Splatoon 2, during a Nintendo Direct back in April, they've been holding off on demoing the mode until E3. Along with a live presentation during their Treehouse stream, many attendees got their hands on the new mode and initial impressions are good.

At PAX East 2017, I attended a special press event for Diablo 3 (D3) on the Necromancer. MMO Co-Opportunities Volume LVIII: Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns Beta Preview, Part 2

Last month, MMO Co-Opportunities featured part 1 of a hands-on preview of the upcoming expansion for Guild Wars 2, Heart of Thorns. In it, I gave some impressions of the new profession (the Revenant), one of the new elite specializations for the game (the Dragonhunter for the Guardian), and some thoughts of the general feel of the new zone. This mo...
