Pokémon Go to Add Co-Op Raid Battles This Summer

Because I'm apparently a grumpy luddite who hates all things new, charming, and fun, I never got into the Pokémon Go craze last year. Since I'm pretty sure I'm the only one on the face of the planet for whom that's true, then the news that Pokémon Go is adding a cooperative mode this summer will likely be of interest to you.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Returns to iOS, Online Co-Op in Tow

The 2014 release of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for iOS did the nigh impossible when it adapted precision-based gameplay for greasy touch screens. It wasn't perfect, but hey, it was fantastic. [E3 2016] Friendly Update to Minecraft Allows for Cross-Platform Play

No Microsoft E3 conference would be complete without mention of the world-building juggernaut that is Minecraft. Last year they showed what could be possible with the HoloLens (whenever that materializes) and this year they're focusing more on the gaming together side of things. The new "Friendly Update" will allow PC (Windows 10 edition), mobile device, and VR players to all join and play in the same Realm.

They're practically paying you to defend these dungeons.

Dungeon Defenders II's Alpha Is Out, Free, And Open To All

Trendy Entertainment, developer of Dungeon Defenders II, gazed upon the hordes of malnourished tower defense enthusiasts and found them weak, malnourished, and craving a new title to feast upon.  "But, they lack the necessary funds", their miserly advisers told them, "they cannot afford to even dream of our forthcoming title."  Nevertheless, the developers saw the masses' desperation, and their morality rang true.  "Give the people what they need", they said, "and make it free, make it all free."
