Welcome The Militia

Latest Earthfall Update Adds New Weapon and New Skins

There are two things that make for a great update: a low price (or free!), and readily available when players want it. In the new Militia update for Earthfall, both of those boxes can be checked off since it is completely free and already available across all platforms. Much like the previous update, Inferno, the latest content brings a new weapon (grenade launchers), character skins and weapon skins.

New, Free DLC Arriving Soon for Absolver

It's been awhile since we've looked at Sloclap's third-person action/fighting title, Absolver. The French developer has continued to support and update the game since its launch on the PC and PlayStation 4 with tweaks, balances, and a new 3v3 PvP mode, but the PvE content has still been lacking. However, there is some good news. A new PvE dungeon will arrive in just a couple weeks and it will be free for everyone.

Latest Hotfix for Dungeon Defenders II Rewards You For Co-Op Play

This past July, Trendy Entertainment dropped some new DLC ("Protean Shift") for their free-to-play tower-defense/third-person action title, Dungeon Defenders II. There have been a couple of updates since then - notably the one last month that increased the rewards received when playing with additional players - and last week, there was a hotfix that refined that system even further. Now, playing with additional players not only gets you more experience, but guaranteed better gear.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition Now Available on Consoles

If you're looking for something to do this weekend on your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, then you might want to check Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition, which just arrived today. This updated version of the 2017 game includes too many tweaks, balances, and fixes to list (seriously, there's a 50 page document about what they did), but the bottom line is this: it's the same great game made even better.

One Small Step For Video Games, One Giant Video To Announce It All.

A Hat In Time Getting Campaign Couch Co-Op on the PC

In a recent video, Gears for Breakfast announced that the PC version of their 3D platforming title, A Hat In Time, will be getting the first of two planned DLC packs soon, and alongside that, a free update that lets you play the entire campaign in split-screen co-op! Both of these will be available on September 13th, and while it sounds like the co-op will always be free for players, the “Seal the Deal” DLC will be free on release day, with the price rising to $4.99 after that.

It's about MOTHERFUNNING time!

Co-Op Has Been Patched Into MOTHERGUNSHIP For All Versions

We were excited to check out Terrible Posture Games' rogue-lite/bullet hell FPS, MOTHERGUNSHIP, with a buddy and enjoy the chaos as we crafted our own impossible guns. Sadly, the co-op feature was delayed on both the consoles and (just prior to launch) the PC. With the "MOTHERGUNFRIENDSHIP" update that was released this week, though, you can now play this intriguing title with a friend.

The Coming Storm Expansion Drops Today for Dauntless

Phoenix Labs' Behemoth-hunting, co-op action-RPG, Dauntless, has been going pretty strong since it hit "open beta" status back in May. Per the developer, the title has surpassed the "two million player milestone." To celebrate and recognize the dedication of its players, there's a free expansion that's getting rolled out over the course of the next few weeks and will add a new Behemoth to hunt, new quests to pursue, and a new weapon to master.
