Hopefully this means Episode 1 will arrive before the end of summer

Last Day to Check Out What's Next For Division 2 on PC PTS

If you enjoyed all of the Tom Clancy's The Division 2 there has been so far, and are eager to get a sneak peek at what's next and also play the PC version of the game, then fire up Uplay and go access the Public Test Server. The development team at Ubisoft has put up an early build of the forthcoming "Episode 1" content - which adds some new loot, two new missions, and a new gameplay mode titled "Expeditions" - and you can play through all of that for the next 24 hours.

There's never been a better time to grow fat from strength

Destiny 2: Season of Opulence Stream Recap and Impressions

The final bit of content for Year 2 of Destiny 2 dropped a few weeks ago: the Season of Opulence. The big attraction this time around for all Annual Pass holders is the new six-player matchmade activity, The Menagerie. This "raid-lite" experience challenges your fireteam to progress through a series of objectives before facing a boss at the end. All of that is pretty fun, but it gets better: your rewards for completing all this is to "choose your own loot."

Update adds a new mission and zombie for free; more free updates planned this summer

World War Z: The Undead Sea Update Now Live

This past week, Saber Interactive released the first major update for their co-op zombie shooter, World War Z. Entitled "The Undead Sea," this update adds a new Tokyo mission (which takes place on a ferry), private lobbies, FOV scaling, mid-match PVP load-out changes, and the ability to disable bots.

Enter The Menagerie in Destiny 2's Season of Opulence

The final season for year 2 of Destiny 2 kicks off today with the "Season of Opulence." This is the third content drop as part of the new "seasons of content" approach that kicked off with Forsaken back in September (as opposed to the DLC seen last year with "Warmind" and "Curse of Osiris") and much like the "Black Armory" and "Joker's Wild," Opulence will add new exotic weapons, new legendary gear, new Pinnacle weapons, and new activities.

Unleash even more ducking chaos

Crackdown 3 Gets Keys to the City Update in Extra Edition

Crackdown 3 may not have lived up to the expectations set by its predecessors, but still was a solid entry for the series in my opinion. While it wasn't the groundbreaking technological marvel originally promised, it was an extremely polished and satisfying game based on the formula set out by Crackdown 1 and 2. Today the team at Microsoft have announced the "Extra Edition" update.

If you're World Tier 5, your Gear Score is 490, and you've got 7 other friends in the same boat, good news!

The Division 2's 8 Player Raid Is Now Live

After a delay in order to address feedback from last month's Tidal Basin update, Ubisoft dropped a new update yesterday for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 that added two new "Classified Assignments" for Annual Pass holders, and (more importantly) the 8-player raid. The raid just went live and if you're reading this, you're probably not racing to be the world's first group to clear it, but you might be interested in seeing those attempts or checking it our on your own.

Pirates are well-known for being the "high minds of the high seas"

Sea of Thieves' Anniversary Update Brings Co-Op Puzzle Solving

Rare's open-world piratical adventure game, Sea of Thieves, turned one year old last month, and to celebrate the occasion (a month later) they've released their free "Anniversary Update" today. This brings a few new additions, such as a dedicated PvP area and a new faction to earn rep with, but it also adds something that we, personally, have been waiting to see: co-op driven experiences.

No new timeframe given...

Anthem's Whole Content Roadmap is Now Delayed

BioWare has been working to fix Anthem ever since its rocky launch a couple months ago, but the writing may now be on the wall for the third-person shooter. In a Reddit post on Tuesday, the Lead Producer and Head of Live Services wrote about the current state of the game with the release of the latest patch, which did add a new Stronghold and some needed QoL improvements, and also where things are headed. The short answer: nowhere fast.

Pick your target carefully

More Co-Op Sniper Maps on the Way for Hitman 2

The recent revamp of the Hitman series was a bold, new approach to a formula that had started to feel a little rote and stale. The sequel, Hitman 2, is, very much more of the same wacky stealth action as the 2016, but it also added a new co-op feature: co-op sniper maps. You and a buddy (online) could play as two other ICA agents - Stone and Knight - to take down three targets from afar. To date, there's only been one of these Co-Op Sniper Maps, but a new one was added a couple weeks ago and another one is on the way.

New Augments and Environments Are Just The Beginning

Grim Dawn Forgotten Gods Expansion Now Available

The action RPG Grim Dawn has received another expansion in the form of the newly released Forgotten Gods. This expansion, much like Grim Dawn itself, is available now for PC and will likely be included when the game finally comes to consoles sometime in the (hopefully) not too distant future. The expansion is priced at $15.99 currently, but it does require the Ashes of Mammoth DLC ($17.00) in order to play, so be sure you’ve snagged that one as well.

Truly a farewell to arms

Final Expansion for Enter the Gungeon Available Now

The folks over at Dodge Roll have been working on their bullet hell dungeon crawler, Enter the Gungeon, for over five years now, and last Friday, they finally declared it as D-O-N-E done! (At least as far as new content is concerned, bug patches will still happen.) The final free DLC expansion, "A Farewell to Arms," was released for all versions of the game so if you've been looking for excuse to get back into this one, now seems as good a time as any.
