World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Beta Key Giveaway
While we don't list MMOs, or cover them on this site, games like World of Warcraft are sort of "implied co-op." The nature of MMOs are to work as a team against hordes of enemies. The reason we can't cover them is there's simply too much information unique to each game, but that doesn't mean we can't talk about them at all!
In case you haven't heard, there's an upcoming Beta for the new expansion coming to WoW. In case you haven't heard, these things are like uber-rare and expensive. Lucky for you dear Co-Optimus readers I have ONE key to giveaway to one of you.

I would like a beta key. Actually, at least for me WoW is the best co-op game I've ever played, on-line or offline. See, my primary co-op partner is my wife, and we both play. I'm usually a Resto Druid, and she's an Arcane Mage. So she runs through the enemies, AoEing like mad and I keep her alive.
And I do think that WoW raiding is probably one of the best co-op experiences you can find (Rock Band MAY be better. May.) you can do either more social type environments (Karazhan) or something much more intensive.

I would very much enjoy the beta key myself. I've played wow extensively, but have never had the opportunity to beta test sadly and I really want to see how the new DK Plays, and how the new talents and ranks affect my hunter and warrior.Thanks for the contest.

It's opposite for us. Mine plays a druid, she's just now going resto from feral and she's been healing me in kara. I play a prot warrior. So, it's good stuff. Two primary classes and we sit next to eachother about 2 feet apart, heh.

I stopped playing this game last november, telling myself I would not start again. Now I find myself giddy with the idea of getting into the beta, and I wonder to myself.."Can you ever stop being an addict?"

I would love to have access to a Lich King key. I have always wanted to get into a beta of a game early, and this is one game that I love! I have a Warlock and a Priest that I'd love to test any class changes with, as well as I'd love to see how the Death Knight works too.It's funny how WoW gets rolled into a co-op site, since it's so huge...however that's how my wife and I play! As a duo. So it's definitely co-op for us in this large MMO. I'm glad to see this game get a bit of coverage here, and I hope you consider my entry in this contest.

Well Im in the same boat as a few of the other guys here it seems, I play game primarily with my wife and its terrific, we have both been long time gamers and wow players (been around since the original beta).We quit wow for maybe 9 months and just came back recently because its very hard to find solid coop games we can both enjoy together, in our 9 months we basically played every other mmo on the market and finished nearly every coop based PC and xbox game, hit a brick wall and decided to go back to it for a while, but since being back ive been really excited about the new expansion and would love a chance to beta test it as i did with the original!

I started playing WoW in the original beta but quit about a year ago. I'm starting to get psyched for the expansion and have been thinking about going back. I miss playing with my friends. I'd love a chance to get a look at the WotLK beta to see if it's going to be worth it.BTW, thanks for building this site. I love co-op games and used to play them all the time on the original NES with my little bro. It's good to see someone taking up the banner and promoting them in this generation.

Pretty sure for the beta you'd have to have an active account with WoW, and the current expansion. Wrath won't work without Burning Crusade.

I've thought for a long time that the MMO was one of the greatest expressions of co-operative gaming, and WoW really is one of the best examples of that form.

When I started playing from warcraft III to world of warcraft, I fell in love, When the new expansion came out I went out and bought it... But now I know there is a beta for the newest one and I really want it... Sadly I did not make the cut. But if you have found it in your heart to give it away then by gosh I would love to be the one to get picked. I can donate no big deal but this game is something I need... LOL I know it sounds cheesy but you have no idea. So if you do give that beta away then please... Pick me!
