Halo: Reach Conquers Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox LIVE; Plus, Co-op Easter Egg: REEEAAACH RACER!!

It seems like only yesterday I was discussing how Halo: Reach has dominated the Xbox 360 charts.  This comes as no surprise, as Halo is the flagship series of Microsoft's big box.  What is intriguing is that Reach has dethroned Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Just how dominant has Noble Team been since launch?  The good folks over at Raptr.com have crunched the numbers and come up with some interesting tidbits of information.  They even came up with a info graphic that has duel-wielding Spartan Raptor hybrids!  Feel free to throw the following numbers in CODMW2 fanboys' faces.

As you can see, there are in fact big-headed little dino-Spartans.  Allen Wang has compiled a cornucopia of stats, including completion rates of not only Halo: Reach, but Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST as well:

Halo 3: ODST Completion Rates - Full Lifetime of Game
Normal difficulty – 40.75%
Heroic difficulty- 25.77%
Legendary difficulty – 20.19%

Halo 3 Completion Rates - Full Lifetime of Game
Normal difficulty – 43.21%
Heroic difficulty – 29.25%
Legendary difficulty – 24.55%

The biggest bragging rights come from the "top 10 games Halo: Reach stole playtime from on the Xbox 360":

1.  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

2.  Halo 3

3.  Mass Effect 2

4.  Battlefield: Bad Company 2

5.  Halo 3: ODST

6.  Plants vs. Zombies

7.  Gears of War 2

8.  NHL 11

9.  Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions

10. Mafia II

Wang goes on to report that:

Modern Warfare 2’s playtime has dropped 50% since the launch of Halo: Reach

So now fanboys of Halo can bash on fanboys of Call of Duty, at least until Call of Duty: Black Ops comes out.

Okay, you read to the end, now here's your co-op Easter egg.

I've got to thank IGN.com for this.  There's a racing mini-game in the third mission of Halo: Reach.  In the Oni: Sword Base Mission there are two secret doors located near the two mid-mission objectives.  By secret doors I mean invisible and by mid-mission objectives I mean the Comm Tower and the AA Gun.

If you and a friend activate these doors at the same time you will be whisked away to 'Reach Racer,' a racing mini-game that will take you around Sword Base in heavily armed Warthogs.  There are checkpoints to mark  your way.  The video will show you exactly where to go to find the doors.  I can confirm that you can do this in split screen with a couch co-op partner.  And I still have no idea how people find this stuff.
