You probably don’t remember this one, but we previewed Islands of Wakfu back at PAX 2009 - and then we didn’t really hear anything about it. Apparently that was because the developer Ankama was hard at work finishing up the local co-op Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive.
From what I remember in our preview, you get to play as one of two characters; the melee specialist human character, and the flying ranged dragon character. Actually, how about I stop trying to explain it, and you just watch the video to see for yourself.
Now that the game is completed we’re hoping to see a lot more details about the story and gameplay, as well as the release date. It should be an interesting co-op experience for just about every type of gamer out there.
