Will you be able to watch tanks blow up in slow motion?

Battlezone on PSVR Will Have Four Player Online Co-Op

When they're not figuring out how to make sniper bullets move in the slowest of motions and cause the worst kind of damage to some people, UK developer Rebellion has been working on a modern take of the '80s arcade title Battlezone. The game is slated for release next month on the PlayStation 4 (a PlayStation VR headset is required to play) and it was revealed today that it will support four player online co-op when it launches.

MMO Co-Opportunities Volume LXIX - WoW Legion

For this installment of MMO Co-Opportunities, I'm hijacking Tally's column to talk about World of Warcraft - Legion. Sorry about that! I haven't seriously played WoW since the Cataclysm days, though I did dip my toes into Mists of Pandaria. I also played around with the Warlords of Draenor content in the weeks leading up to Legion's launch, and a lot has changed. Considering many people who have lapsed on WoW seem to be interested in Legion, I'm going to briefly talk about some things that have changed in recent years before I get to what's completely new.

Some good deals on a selection of co-op titles

PlayStation Co-Op Sale Returns

For the past couple years, Sony has run a week-long sales event focused on co-op games. This joyous time for us co-op gamers usually runs towards the end of November (just in time for the holiday season), but it appears that it's getting an earlier start this year. From now until 8:00 AM Pacific on September 20, you can take advantage of good deals (up to 70% off in some cases) on some great co-op titles like Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition and Dark Souls 3.

SMITE's 3.17 Patch Adds Dedicated PvE Mode for a Limited Time

While Hi-Rez's SMITE has allowed you to team up with a group of friends to take on a group of A.I. bots in any of the main match types, it hasn't had a dedicated PvE mode until the most recent patch dropped on the PC. The new mode, "Xing Tian's Mountain," pits five players against a selection of challenges, like fighting two gods (Ra and Vamana) that become empowered when the other dies, with each one becoming more difficult the more you succeed.
