Remember that time when the release date for Homefront: The Revolution was oops-accidentally leaked? Well, turns out it was spot-on! Look for the co-op enabled game to hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 17th. And yeah, you can probably get five bucks off at Target, too.
It's just a touch late to the party, but Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is finally out for game-starved PlayStation Vita owners. The portable version packs all the strategy, the characters, and the co-op from the console versions into your hands, allowing you to use the touchscreen to unleash special skills and dominate the battlefield. Take that, other dynasties!
That latest DLC pack for PAYDAY 2 arrives bearing goats. Developer Overkill has teamed up with Coffee Stain Studios, the developers behind the bizarre Goat Simulator, to bring the Goat Simulator Heist. In addition to a new goat themed two-day heist, the DLC includes a new shotgun, four new farm-themed melee weapons, four new masks, and new patterns and materials.
This past friday, the Friday Awesomely Live Co-Op crew proved that a life of crime can start with BMX bikes, your friends, and your local Los Santos gas station. Well, that and some guns. If our GTA Online shenanigans prove anything, it's that we'd make pretty awesome criminals. Good thing the three of us are too lazy to actually try any of this in real life, because if we did, there'd be a trail of destruction, murdered cops, and stolen helicopters. An update to Rainbow 6 Siege arrived on the PC version last week and is slated to be released to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions tomorrow. The main focus of the patch was to fix issues around hits on enemies/players actually being registered. For the moment, this particular tweak is for the PC but Ubisoft plans on releasing it to consoles once they've gotten more data about whether it works or not from the PC.

There's something to be said about the physics based puzzles in Trine. When they work, and the solution is somewhat obvious, it can be satisfying. But sometimes the game's physics simply don't cooperate, or the solution to a puzzle may not be easily seen. Soon you find yourself over-thinking Newtonian equations when really all the game wants is to have you jump on a box. Sometimes your co-op partner simply wants to troll you by dropping boxes on the wrong side of a see-saw. Whatever the game tends to throw at you it's as equally entertaining as it is frustrating.
