D.J. learned to hold a controller before he could walk. He has fuzzy memories of running a commentary of baby nonsense for his father’s struggles in The Legend of Zelda. When most kids were rolling around with a ball or some sort of animal like toy, he was playing Super Mario Bros. and Duckhunt (you know, the important things in life.) To give you an idea of his gaming preferences, he considered Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest to be the finest Castlevania title for the NES. Yes, he is one of those guys. Born at the cusp of the Nintendo revolution, it wasn’t until the Super Nintendo came out that he really got into co-op gaming. Some of his fondest memories involve his childhood friend and a copy of Secret of Mana, which he considers the greatest co-op game ever made. Co-op has been in his blood ever since. He can be found in just about any RPG, FPS, or any derivative of co-op game fulfilling the support or healer role. There is just something satisfying about being the guy responsible for keeping the front lines fueled.

Outside of games, he enjoys scary metal music, furry creatures, sports, personal fitness, and cooking. He has a wonderful girlfriend who he adores, and who also entertains his love of silly co-op goodness.

Oh, and he devours sushi constantly.

Cleaning up the streets, retro style

Fist Puncher Available for Xbox 360

Side-scrolling beat em' ups have been making a comeback in recent times. Once a staple of the video game world, these types of games took a hiatus, only to be revived once again when retro-themed games once again entered the gaming scene. One such game, Fist Puncher, was released recently for the PC. Fist Puncher, from Team2Bit, was a very zany brawler that featured tons of characters, content, moves, and achievements.
