A few months ago, we heard about a new co-op survival game that tasked you and 15 of your nearest and dearest friends to successfully manage a submarine and navigate the depths of Europa's oceans. Barotrauma arrives today to Steam Early Access, so you can see just how much "Hunt for the Red October" got right/wrong when it comes to submarines.
The title supports up to 16 players total on one server, but you can set that to a much lower number and even password-protect it so you can be sure it's just your buddies on there with you. There's a new video available that goes through just what to expect from the title in this Early Access phase.
Barotrauma is available now via Steam Early Access. 16 player online co-op is supported in Sandbox, Mission, and Campaign modes.
