You know when Epic announced they would be making an announcement relating to Gears of War at the Spike Video Game Awards? Well, Major Nelson is announcing that the announcement is delayed.
I wanted to share this with you and let you know that while these are never easy decisions, we can tell you that what we have to share for the franchise in 2011 will definitely be worth the wait and we look forward to working with our partner at Spike on sharing this world premier news when it is ready.
Rumors swirled of a Kinect enabled Gears of War game. It looks like we'll have to wait for another announcement about the announcement to get the goods sometime next year. So if you planned on staying up past your 8PM bed time tonight to watch the VGAs just for some new Gears goodness, you might want to hold off.
