We had the great opportunity to meet Bruce Hawver, CEO of SteelSeries gaming gear, this year at PAX. From the very get-go, Bruce was eager to display some of his finest wares, and his great energy comes through in his company's products. From mousepads to headsets to custom drivers...SteelSeries has an impressive pedigree, and we got to see some of the latest hardware available, and hardware soon to be released.

We've got a pretty interesting story for you today, regarding upcoming zombie slaying sequel Left 4 Dead 2. You'll recall that many people were understandably upset at the announcement of L4D2, coming so soon after the first game, and before any DLC had even been announced. An internet petition and boycott ensued. Valve decided to fly the two most vocal boycotters out to check things out and hopefully smooth things over. (I guess internet petitions do work after all!) The upcoming issue of Game Informer magazine will unveil some details about the four player co-op game Crackdown 2. Continuing on from the first game, it appears a zombie virus is spreading, and the civilians have banded together to form a gang and destroyed the Agency. Day and night will play a crucial role in the game, and freaks will be bigger and badder than before.
Soutpeak Games has announced the retail version of Trine should be available on store shelves right now. The digital version was released earlier this year on services like Steam, and the PlayStation Network version...well lets just say we hope to see it before the holidays.

Stardock has announced the official launch of their Impulse Client Phase IV. The update brings a completely redesigned interface which closely resembles features from Windows 7. The entire store has been redesigned, and there's now a rating system for games purchased which appear on the store as well.
