The first Guitar Hero: World Tour commercial (seen here) featured the game's new 4 player co-op feature with such stars as Kobe Bryant, Michael Phelps, Tony Hawk and A-Rod. While I'm not one for men in PJs, the commercial does an admirable job of catching the fun to be had in cooperative rhythm game festivities.
Oh snap - look up! That's one badass banner Mike made for us. It's all about Gears of War 2 this week as the mayhem starts this Friday, November 7th. To celebrate we've got some REALLY cool exclusive goodies to help promote the co-op title.
It sure isn't easy being undead these days. Whether it's Call of Duty and it's zombie mode, or Left 4 Dead and it's full co-op campaign - the undead have to keep their head down for risk of being re-dead.
Aerosmith? AC/DC? Metallica? These are big bands, for sure, but it appears the biggest band of all is coming to a video game console near you. Harmonix and MTV Games, of Rock Band fame, are making an all new game based on the Beatles. This is no mere Track Pack, though; instead, it's an entirely new game, described as "a musical and visual journey through the Beatles' entire career." (Yellow Submarine minigames, perhaps?)

As a follow up to our previous stories, we have the latest information about the Guitar Hero World Tour drum kit issues, straight from RedOctane. A tuning application for the drum kit has been made available at the Activision Customer Support Center. The application, which runs on your PC, will allow users to adjust the sensitivity of each drum pad individually. It appears that many of the issues with double hits, missed hits, and the like can be fixed with this handy little application.
Another co-op game that was supposed to be released this week was the PC version of Saint's Row 2. But do to some technical difficulties the game has been delayed until early next year. This only became apparent during a forum post on the official Volition forums by a moderator.
It's been a while since we've had a good Ghostbusters Game (see above). So when we heard that the latest game was in limbo thanks to some publisher politics, we were quite disappointed. As we previously reported, the game was rumored to have been picked up by Atari. Now thanks to the latest investor relations call, it's been confirmed.
It's a clash of the virtual titans this week. In this corner we have Marcus Fenix; big, brawny and wielding a chainsaw machine gun. In the opposing corner we have Nathan Hale; quick, agile and infected with an alien virus.
