Two players can compete against enemy toasters in this silly physics-based sports game.

Play Volleyball With Toasters in 'Toasterball' for Steam

Volleyball is a fun and simple sport that lends itself well to arcade-style games like Volley Pals. Indie developer Les Crafteurs has taken a different approach with Toasterball, a physics-based volleyball game that recently launched on Steam after a period of Early Access. Here, players control toasters who hit the ball by flopping around and launching slices of toast into the air. It's a very silly experience that supports 2-player local co-op.

The title that was used for European Bomberman games will get its first original game.

Dynablaster, Offshoot of Bomberman, Is Coming to Consoles and PC with Co-op!

Back in the 1980s and 90s, games were sometimes renamed when released in Europe. Contra became Probotector, TMNT became the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, and a handful of Bomberman games were called Dynablaster. Now BBG Entertainment, the German company responsible for the really unpleasant looking Boulder Dash Plus, is resurrecting Dynablaster with a brand-new game. The new Dynablaster is coming to Xbox, Switch, and Steam in July, and it will support 4-player local and online co-op.

The co-op beat 'em up franchise that started it all will soon return with a fresh interpretation.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragon Announced by Modus Games

in 1987, the arcade version of Double Dragon became the first co-op beat 'em up. After the original developer, Technos, closed down, the property started getting licensed to different developers with their own unique visions. WayForward released Double Dragon Neon, a Korean developer unleashed the awkward Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons (the game that brought me to Co-Optimus), and Arc System Works, the current IP holder, created the retro-style Double Dragon IV. Now, Secret Base Games and Modus Games are throwing their hats into the ring with Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, coming to consoles and PC this summer.

Dogfight: A Sausage Bomber Story Co-op Review

The shoot ‘em up genre lends itself well to cooperative multiplayer, but few shmups support more than 2-player co-op. That’s what makes Dogfight: A Sausage Bomber Story (AKA Dogfight) so exciting. Dogfight supports 4-player local co-op, allowing a whole team of friends can join together and shoot down the planes, tanks, and mechs of the...
