Remember when Sonic Generations came out in 2011, and everyone loved it despite the obnoxious final boss battle? In the years since, Sega has stubbornly refused to make a sequel despite the obvious financial incentive to do so. That will finally change this fall when Sonic Superstars arrives on consoles and PC. PAW Patrol is a super successful CG animated series that has been running for ten seasons now. The story follows a young boy and his team of heroic dogs as they get in little adventures. The premise naturally lends itself to video games, the latest of which will be titled PAW Patrol World. This one will allow two local players to team up and save the PAW Patrol Day festivities from the nefarious Kitten Catastrophe Crew.

June is upon us. Although E3 is once again not happening, the industry as a whole still seems to agree that it is a good month to flood the internet with new announcements. Hopefully we'll get a good amount of co-op fodder, too. We will, of course, keep you posted. Oh, and there is that thing incoming on June 6th called Diablo IV. You may have heard of it.

At the start of May, Secret Base Games and Modus Games announced Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, the latest game in the long-running Double Dragon series. Diablo IV is set to release to the masses this week, with early access starting on June 2nd. We were lucky enough to gain access to a near final build of the game last week with all content unlocked. The intention was to develop a review, but the reality set in - this game is way too big and constantly in motion to give the traditional review treatment.

You can't throw a rock without hitting a survival game these days. I just threw one, and it hit Smalland: Survive the Wilds! Well, Solarpunk, the upcoming survival game from Cyberwave and Rokaplay, differentiates itself with a fantastic setting: the sky. Players will travel between floating islands on an airship and work together to build, farm, and craft gadgets. The developers plan to first launch on Steam Early Access next year, followed by console versions. To make all that happen, they've just launched a Kickstarter.

Nobody wants to just defend towers anymore. Nowadays, you've got to move around and hit things while protecting your towers. Indie developer Catastrophic_Overload and publisher Firestoke know these things all too well. Hence, Bish Bash Bots will combine tower defense with the time-honored tradition of bashing robots. Even better, Bish Bash Bots will support 4-player local and online co-op when it arrives on consoles and PC later this year.
