Who are those lil' scamps gonna fight next?

Our Weekend In Gaming: Battle Kidz

There's gonna be a lot of hootin', a lot of hollerin', and a lot of smack-down-drag-out fightin' this weekend.  The Co-Opticrew must have built up a lot of anger in the last week, cause we're either chasing battles, chasing monsters, or chasing sourcerors over the next couple days.  I suppose it's good to a let a little rage out every now and then, as long as it doesn't end in someone getting fired cause they "smashed every fax machine in the tri-county area".  Or, you know, whatever.

Epic Loon Invades Your Old VHS Tapes Next Month

I have no idea how old you are, but I'm assuming you've at least heard of the long-lost technology known as "VHS tapes".  They were a relative staple of life back in the day, holding in their cassettes anything you could imagine - dinosaur-ridden theme parks, cartoon transforming robots, recordings of your aunt's wedding that your dad accidentally taped over with an episode of Frazier.  Anything.

Just your average three day weekend.

Our Weekend In Gaming: The Usual

The Co-Opticrew is mostly spending this Memorial Day weekend (or "Bank Holiday", whatever that is) with some familiar titles.  This may be an indication that Summer is Truly Upon Us, but it's certainly not a bad thing.  In fact, I think it's perfectly valid to spend some time in the safe confines of games you're comfortable with.  It's a scary world out there, why not spend some time with the things you know best?
