Japanese developer HexaDrive has worked on plenty of games for big publishers, including titles like Super Bomberman R, Final Fantasy XV, and Okami HD. Now the studio is gearing up to unleash a PC game of its very own. VOIDCRISIS is a gorgeous "tower offense" game in which up to four players team up to pilot mechs and thwart mysterious alien invaders. It will launch on Steam Early Access at the beginning of August.

Steamroller Animation is a studio that has contributed animations to Fortnite, Dauntless, Mortal Kombat 11, and countless other games. The company is now gearing up to release its first game, one seven years in the making. Curse of the Deadwood (formerly known as Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse) is a twin-stick action/shooter with asymmetrical gameplay and 2-player local co-op. It's coming soon to Steam and Steam Deck, and it looks great.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection, Konami's collection of 8-bit and 16-bit TMNT games, was first announced back in March. At the time, we expected it to come out before the hotly anticipated TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. That didn't happen, but the end is nearly insight, dudes. Konami has announced that The Cowabunga Collection will launch on consoles and PC on August 30. Now that we know the collection's release date, let's break down its co-op features.

We recently reviewed the first Capcom Arcade Stadium, a collection of 32 arcade classics from Capcom's heyday. Now Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium has launched on all platforms (a few hours late on consoles), bringing with it another choice batch of 32 arcade games. The base game is free to download and comes with SonSon, a run-and-gun shooter based on the famous Chinese novel, Journey to the West. While beat 'em up fans continue to wait patiently for WayForward's River City Girls 2 and River City Girls Zero, those aren't the only games in town. Straight from Arc System Works themselves, River City Saga: Three Kingdoms has just landed on PlayStation, Switch, and Steam. This installment transplants the River City/Kunio-kun cast to China's Three Kingdoms period. Both a 2-player story mode and a 4-player arcade mode are included, each supporting local and online co-op. Oh, and the "River City Girls" are in it too!

Call of Duty: Vanguard 's campaign mode might not have set the world on fire, but the multiplayer modes are still going strong. Players who haven't jumped in yet now have a great chance to do so, as both the cooperative Zombies and competitive Multiplayer modes are free to download and play from July 20-26. What's more, July 26 will see the "Mercenaries of Fortune" update arrive (though without a new Zombies map).

The colorful "clear the screen" platformer will support 4-player local co-op in multiple game modes, and it's coming to all major platforms sometime this year.

Players who buy any premium edition of MultiVersus can play it right now, but the game will officially launch in free to play form on July 26.
