It's just a touch late to the party, but Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is finally out for game-starved PlayStation Vita owners. The portable version packs all the strategy, the characters, and the co-op from the console versions into your hands, allowing you to use the touchscreen to unleash special skills and dominate the battlefield. Take that, other dynasties!
The time-honored tradition of releasing the same numbered Warriors game with a perplexing amount of iterations is here once more. Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires invades our turf in just over a week, so we might as well learn what slight innovations are clocking in this time.
You think you're ready for him. You think you can face the demon Lu Bu. But can you?! Maybe you'll succeed with these new weapons for Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires. Maybe you'll be able to knock him off his mighty steed, Red Hare. Then again, maybe you'll just have an easier time slaughtering thousands of ho-hum enemies.
Tragedy once again rears its tear-soaked scythe towards all of you hardcore Dynasty Warriors fans out there. Koei Tecmo announced a delay for the newest installment in the series, Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, by a month. DW diehards will have to wait for the 24th of February in North America, and the 27th in Europe, to get their hyper-powered mitts around more peasant slaughtering.
Gah! I just woke up from the most awful dream. In it, Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires was being released, but I had no reason to go to my local brick and mortar games store to lay down my hard earned cash for a pre-order. Also, this tuna sandwich kept hitting on me. I knew it was a dream, cause when I made out with it, it tasted like buffalo wings.
If there's one thing we can count on besides death and taxes, it's the continuous release of Dynasty Warriors games - and hey, that's not a bad thing if they're your kind of thing. If they are, then you'll be pleased to know that Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires has received a western release date: January 27th.
