Earlier this month, Spanish publisher Meridiem Games promised that physical editions of Fury Unleashed from Awesome Games Studio would be coming in the future. Now we know when those boxed games will arrive: the end of September. Hey, if you've waited this long to play Fury Unleashed, the clever run-and-gun platformer/Roguelike with local and online co-op, then a few more months shouldn't be so bad.

Fury Unleashed is a cool run-and-gun shooter/Roguelike with a comic book theme that launched on consoles and PC after a period of early access. There's no other game quite like it, especially not with both local and online co-op. That certainly makes Fury Unleashed worthy of a boxed release, something that will finally happen thanks to Meridiem Games. The European publisher has announced that special boxed editions of the PlayStation and Switch versions will be launching this autumn.

After an extensive five-year development journey (three of which were spent in Early Access), developer Awesome Games Studio is finally ready to, uh, unleash its creation upon the world.  Fury Unleashed, an action/platformer/roguelike played out over a series of procedurally generated comic book panels, will enter its final form on May 8th.

Awesome Games Studio's latest title, Fury Unleashed, got an update today that we're pretty happy about. While the game was previously a single-player only platform shooter with rogue-lite elements, you can now play through it all with a buddy on your couch.
