The Crew 2 Is Getting Gators And Hovercrafts On September 26th

Somewhere out there is a person playing The Crew 2 and thinking, "Sure, all this open-world racing is great or whatever, but what I really want is the sensation of drifting into a hairpin turn while also swatting at a horde of bloodthirsty mosquitoes."  Luckily for this hypothetical person, they'll only need to wait a little over a month for their wish to come true, as the "Gator Rush" update will be hitting The Crew 2 on September 26th.

As The Crew 2 gets ready to release later this month, the steady stream of gameplay details and videos continue. The guys at Outside Xtra captured some of their time in the recent closed beta, so enjoy nineteen minutes of uninterrupted co-op gameplay that starts with driving in a car, transitions into an airplane, and finishes by taking the role of the worst-suited vehicle for a land race; a boat.

Latest Dev Video Shows Off The Crew 2's Flexibility

It looks like Ubisoft is really pushing the ability to fly/drive/boat your way across not-quite-America in The Crew 2.  Admittedly, it looks like a lot of fun, assuming everything works as smoothly as you'd hope, and even if it doesn't, there are lots of hijinx to be had in watching your boat slam into the streets of Detroit from 200 yards in the air.
