[E3 2014] - Weaponize Pachyderms in Far Cry 4

Games with enough hype behind them at can show up in several press conferences at E3, each appearance highlighting a new part of the game. Far Cry 4 got a double-feature this year, showing up first in Ubisoft's conference before moonlighting at Sony's. The shooter, due out November 18th of this year, demonstrated some of its explosive, high-flying gameplay at the Sony show, where they were also kind enough to clue us in on some co-op options.

Run, Fatboy, Run! Dying Light Footage in the Rotting Flesh

If Zombieland taught us anything, it is that cardiovascular exercise is key to surviving the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse.  Don't try and fight hoards of flesh hungry deadites, get out of there ASAP.  The upcoming 4 player co-op title Dying Light agrees with this principle as the new 10 minutes of gameplay footage shows; more flight, less fight.

Zombies and Parkour Meet Up in Gameplay Footage of Dying Light

The VGX's happened this weekend, and while you might not agree with the results for "x of the year," it was still pretty cool to see some actual game play. Polish developer Techland just can't get enough zombie love, especially of the first person variety. The makers of Dead Island look like they're taking the heavy hitting melee lessons they learned about in that game and applying it to Dying Light. The big shift from Island to Light is instead of being a burly man with a sledgehammer, you can now be a burly man with a sledgehammer who moonlights as a ninja.
